wikipedia war

Video Art entry here, and I am trying my best to add myself and those of my colleagues who I believe deserve to be mentioned, at least, on something as humble and egalitarian as the wikipedia.

Where do all the great ideas come from?

So, I have been spending the last few weeks see-sawing from playing Planetside scouting the Bomb Shock awards for inspiration, keeping tabs on Defective Yeti, (we went and saw Spellbound based on his review), Rob Cockerham's genius page, and the Avid Community Forum. All the while mining for inspiration, and direction as to where, what the new, improved version of inciteinsight.com will look like be. I have wrestled with making it into an all Flash site, though I quickly realized that I do not have the skills to make a convincing ball roll animation, much less an entire site that is entirely flash. If anyone has any ideas on what books to read, where to find tutorials, etc. for basic navigation and site layout, I would appreciate any tips.

Anyways, I am in the figuring out what the hell to do phase. I just got this blog template sorted out. I am going with the Van Gogh, blue eyes and freckles, orange/blue complementary color scheme going, and will probably keep tweaking it until it is just right. As far as the rest of the site, I'm still in pre-alpha phase, the site is little more than some preliminary sketches and some some saved templates of pirated sites. I am looking at:

and more that I cannot think of right now.
