New Genres Monitor even...

I am working in the New Genres department at SFAI as a monitor. The last few days have seen me painting and stripping paint, floors, walls and ceilings. I have done what there is to be done, and I am looking forward, fondly, to the future.

I smoked today. In fact it was set off by a number of things. Albert asked me whether I had quit, I said yes, which was true, I hadn't smoked since Friday of last week, but almost immediately the little nagging started and it didn't stop until I was sucking away at some Chinese brand of generic cigarette, bummed from some guy who had moved here from San Diego but was originally from South Africa. Bevan, I think his name was.

I felt like a fraud, I feel like a fraud. I also got myself readdicted to nicotine and it sucks because it is only compatible in one part of my life.
